Time is running short and shorter to help our young Ethiopian brother in Christ.
Thanks to your help, Assefa is already receiving three dialysis treatments a week again.
That has led to his turn-around (after the dialysis center ran short on supplies) and is keeping him stable.
Thanks be to God.
But it is not going to cure him.
In fact, the longer he receives dialysis, the greater the likelihood of his health deteriorating, which increases the risks for the kidney transplant.
To complicate matters, the donor of the kidney, Assefa’s ‘little’ brother, Robiel (aged 18) has to be back in Ethiopia in the autumn. Otherwise he risks losing his place at school.
But Assefa needs the transplant as soon as possible — and you can help.
