Fr. Baraki lets you know, in the following email, that he is grateful for your charity, and remembers all of his – and NCCL’s – benefactors at the Divine Liturgy (holy Masses) which he offers in the Ethiopic, viz., traditional Ge’ez rite, for the intentions of those who donate in support of his missionary action.

The Mass stipends if you send to Fr. Tesfamariam [Abba Abraha’s priest-brother in Washington, D.C.] there is no any problems I can pick up from him. [When Abba Abraha visits in September/October.]

Dear Gregory, I am very hesitating to see you in face. You are unforgettable person in front of God. If God gives me chance I would see you.

You have no any [to worry?] about Asefa, Asefa’s life with God extended by your great effort. If Asefa didn’t get you he would not be living here in this world. These are real things. Don’t worry about his visit. Thank you!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!! God pay for you for your restless effort

Dear Gregory, I remember you with all your family and all our charitable people in my daily prayers. I hope you remember me in your holy prayers.

The following Mass intentions have offered in order in the following days. 190 Holy Masses are offered. 29 Holy Masses not offered yet I hope it will be finished after 29 days. A total of 219 Masses have been requested, each to be offered “for the intention of the giver”, according to the traditional Ge’ez Rite of the sacred Liturgy — as is the custom & condition of [y]our requests.

Following are names of the givers, their city & state, and their intentions — all given verbatim from the “Operation Mission Stipends” forms returned to NCCL since October, 2011. (Except for the “Gregorian Masses” requested by Mrs. Diane Toler in August 2011, who had granted me permission to wait to send her request until you no longer had other responsibilities or obligations at the altar; and by Mrs. Alice Grayson, whose gift delivered July 1, 2011 was inadvertently not recorded until after the last transfer.)

1.) Mrs. Alice Ann Grayson – Stowe, Vermont; July 1, 2011 [sic] – donated $50 US requesting: one (1) Mass for the repose of the soul of Martina Ann (Penny) Lloyd. I offered this Mass 27 January 2013.

2.) Mrs. Diane Toler – Glenmoore, Pennsylvania; August 8, 2011 [sic] – donated $3,000 US requesting:

a. 30 consecutive “Gregorian” Masses for repose of the soul of her father, Elio Filippo.
These 30 Masses in order I offered from 28 January to 26 February 2013.

b. 30 consecutive “Gregorian” Masses for repose of the soul of her husband’s father, Herbert Toler
I offered 30 Masses consecutive from February 28 to March 29, 2013.

c. 30 consecutive “Gregorian” Masses for repose of the soul of her husband’s half-brother, Vernon Ferrell
I have offered 30 Masses consecutive from 30 March to 27April 2013.

d. 30 consecutive “Gregorian” Masses for repose of the soul of her friend in Christ, Lori Rechichar
I offered 30 consecutive whole Masses from May 13 to 11 June 2013 in order.

3.) Mrs. Diane Buscemi – Los Osos, California; February 13, 2012 – donated $15 US requesting: one (1) holy Mass for the Sacred Fraternity of St. Peter
I offered this Mass on April 28, 2013.

4.) Richard J. Lloyd – Whitehall, Pennsylvania; February 18, 2012 – donated $590 US requesting 59 Masses:

a. 10 holy Masses for the repose of the soul of Howard Lloyd, father of Richard
these 10 holy Masses I offered consecutive from 29 April to May 9, 2013.

b. 10 holy Masses for the repose of the soul of Nellie Lloyd, mother of Richard.
I offered 10 holy Masses from 13 June to June 22, 2013 for the repose the soul of Nellie intention.

c. 10 holy Masses for the repose of the soul of Florence Lloyd, sister of Richard
[I] Have offered 10 Masses from 23 June to July 2, 2013 for the repose soul of Florence intention.

d. 10 holy Masses for the repose of the soul of Martina Ann (Penny) Lloyd, wife of Richard.
I have offered 10 Holy Masses from 3 July to 12 July 2013 for the soul of Martina intention.

e. 12 holy Masses for special intentions.
Have offered 12 Holy Masses from 3 July to 25, 2013 for special intention of Mr.Rechad.

f. five (5) holy Masses for the repose of the soul of Joseph A. Granahan, Jr, friend of Richard.
I have offered 5 holy Masses from 26 July to 30, 2013 for the soul of Joseph A. Granahan intention.

g. one (1) holy Mass for Helen Hillanbrand, friend of Richard.
One (1) holy Mass for Helen Hillanbrand friend of Richard intention July 31, 2013.

h. one (1) holy Mass for the repose of the soul of Mary Wukitsch, at the request of Mrs. Jane Purvis, friend of the deceased.
This Holy Mass have offered 1st August 2013

j. Mrs. Resch requesting: — five (5) holy Masses for the repose of the soul of Mr. Norman Resch
These 5 holy Masses have offered of the soul of Mr. Norman Resch intention 2 August to 6, 2013.

6.) Richard J. Lloyd; June 15, 2012 – donated $130 US requesting 13 Masses for the repose of the soul of the departed servant of God Martian Ann (Penny) Lloyd:
a. one (1) holy Mass for the repose of the soul of Martina Ann (Penny) Lloyd, at the request of Mrs. Carolyn Lloyd, daughter-in-law of the deceased
This Holy Mass in order have offered in 8 August 2013 of the soul of Martina intention.

b. two (2) holy Masses for the repose of the soul of Martina Ann (Penny) Lloyd, at the request of Daniel Lloyd, grandson of the decease
I offered these 2 holy Masses 11 and 12 May 2013 for Martina intention.
